How does fat dissolving work?

Fat dissolver is injected directly into the fat that is being targeted for dissolving. Fat cells or adipocytes, are broken down by the dissolver. This then triggers a localised inflammatory response in the body which allows the fat cells to then be removed and excreted by the kidneys.

How many treatments will I need?

You will likely need somewhere between 3 and 6 treatments, with 2-4 weeks intervals, of fat dissolving for your desired results. The number of treatments depends on many factors, such as individual metabolism, lifestyle, volume of fat to be dissolved etc.

Courses of 3 or 6 treatments are available to book, or you can book each treatment individually as you go.

What should I expect from the treatment?

Firstly, the area being treated is sterilised ready for injecting. A grid is then drawn on the area that is being treated and some of the fat dissolving solution is injected into each area in the grid. 

The procedure is painless and we will discuss aftercare during your appointment too. The fat dissolvers I use cause minimal swelling and there is no downtime after this treatment. 

For best fat dissolving results, it is essential to drink enough water to help the body excrete the broken down fat cells. A minimum of 2 litres per day is advised.
